Celebrating Creativity, Innovation, and the Next Generation of WA Founders
The Venture UWA community came together for one of our biggest events of the year — the Pitch Night & Showcase 2025. This event is a celebration of the phenomenal creativity, purposeful innovation, and entrepreneurial drive of UWA’s students, researchers, and emerging founders.
And what a year it has been.
We opened applications earlier this year to any UWA student or recent graduate wanting to explore turning an idea into a real venture. 52 teams applied, 15 were selected for the program, and 13 completed the full Venture UWA Incubator — a huge achievement in itself.
Over the past four months, these founders have immersed themselves in industry-led workshops, mentoring, customer discovery, validation, and pitch training. The transformation has been remarkable — not just in their businesses, but in their capability, confidence, and clarity as founders.
