Mole-clue
Mole-Clue is revolutionising chromatography–mass spectrometry workflows by digitising, automating, and accelerating one of the most time-consuming processes in analytical chemistry.
Founder:
Sean Li
Studied:
Bachelor of Philosophy (Hons), Chemistry, UWA, 2017-2020
Doctor of Philosophy - PhD, Computational Chemistry & Cheminformatics, UWA, 2021-2025
Bio:
A computational scientist with a strong track record of solving real-world problems at the intersections of chemistry, data analysis and software engineering. With hands-on experience building with Python all things large-scale mass spectral datasets, applying graph theory, statistical modelling, and (interpretable) machine learning to extract insights from complex chemical data. He enjoys translating scientific problems. A part of our 2025 cohort, Sean is driven and motivated.
Industry:
LabTech · Chemistry Automation · Research Tools
What They Do:
The Mole-Clue platform streamlines MS/GC analysis through automated data capture, workflow optimisation, and faster processing. The result is significantly reduced turnaround time for labs, improved accuracy, and the ability to scale high-volume testing and research.
