Practice Your Pitch: Morning Startup Perth is Back

Got a startup idea? Here's your chance to test it in front of a supportive crowd.
One of the biggest hurdles for early-stage founders isn't building the product — it's talking about it. Whether you're preparing for investors, refining your value proposition, or just trying to explain what you're building without rambling for ten minutes, pitching is a skill. And like any skill, it gets better with practice.
That's where Morning Startup Perth comes in.
On Wednesday, 25 March, Morning Startup is hosting another "Pitch Your Startup" session at Riff Perth. It's an early-morning opportunity (7:30–9:00am) for founders to practice their pitch in front of a friendly, non-intimidating audience — and get real feedback before it matters.

Why pitch practice matters
Most founders don't get enough reps. They wait until they're in front of an investor or competition judge to test their pitch — and by then, the stakes are high and the nerves are real.
Pitch practice sessions like this one give you a low-pressure environment to:
Test your messaging and see what lands
Get feedback from other founders and community members
Build confidence before higher-stakes moments
Refine your story in real time
Whether you're preparing for Demo Day, an accelerator application, a grant pitch, or just want to get clearer on how to talk about your venture, this is a smart use of 90 minutes.
Want to pitch?
If you'd like to present at the event, email contact@morningstartup.com or message Morning Startup on Meetup. Include your contact details and a short summary of your startup.
Spots to pitch are limited, so get in early.
About Morning Startup Perth
Morning Startup is a grassroots community that brings together Perth's founders, builders, and startup-curious over early-morning coffee. Their events are relaxed, welcoming, and a great way to plug into the local ecosystem.
At Venture UWA, we're always encouraging our founders to get out of the building — and events like this are exactly how you do it. You'll meet people building things, learn how others talk about their ventures, and start to feel like part of something bigger.
