We're Recruiting: Venture UWA Chair 2026

We’re excited to announce that applications are now open for the role of Chair of the Student Department — one of the most pivotal student leadership positions in Venture UWA.

The Chair is responsible for setting the direction of Venture UWA with their Student Committee team, leading the committee, ensuring that student voices are heard and represented on and off campus, and embodying the Venture UWA value of being student led. This role offers the opportunity to shape initiatives that have a direct impact on the student community while working alongside peers and a dedicated staff team.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking candidates with proven leadership experience and a track record of responsibility. Applications are open only to those who meet the following criteria:

• Held leadership positions in a student club, society, or department 

• Been actively involved in our Incubator or Internship programs and Venture UWA Student Committee 

• Can demonstrate the ability to manage teams, coordinate initiatives, and deliver outcomes

• Excellent communication and leadership ability

This is not a starter role — it’s an opportunity for experienced leaders to step up, bring their skills to the table, and guide Venture UWA with vision and purpose.
