Velora Health is a Perth-based healthtech startup developing real-time, non-invasive technology to measure breastmilk intake during natural feeding.
Breastfeeding delivers profound health benefits, yet parents and clinicians still lack one critical piece of information: how much milk a baby is actually receiving during a feed. This absence of data contributes to parental anxiety, delayed identification of underfeeding, early supplementation, preventable growth faltering, and unnecessary clinical escalation.
Velora exists to close this gap — turning invisible biology into objective data to support confident parents, informed clinicians, and better early-life outcomes.
The company was developed through the Perth Biodesign programme and has received a $50,000 WA Government Innovation Booster Grant to support early development and prototyping. Velora is currently part of the Venture UWA VentureOn Accelerator.
