OzBlu x Venture UWA Innovation Hackathon

The OzBlu x Venture UWA Innovation Hackathon is a five-day, multidisciplinary innovation challenge that brings together university students to solve real-world problems facing Australia's aquaculture industry.

Participants will begin with an exclusive farm immersion experience at OzBlu, where they will gain first-hand insight into operations, meet industry experts, and develop a deep understanding of the challenges. Working in diverse teams, students will then apply human-centred design, lean startup principles, and rapid validation to develop innovative, practical solutions that are desirable for customers, technically feasible and commercially viable.

Throughout the weekend, teams will be supported by mentors from industry, academia, and the startup ecosystem before pitching their solutions to a panel of judges at the final showcase.
