What you’ll do

  • Modify & upgrade a 1:40 scale wave-energy model.

  • Work with test instrumentation: load cells, MRUs, pressure sensors, string pots.

  • Deploy the model and collect data over 5 summer days.

  • Run data QC & analysis in MATLAB; estimate power generation and capture width.

  • Use historical testing reports and MATLAB scripts provided by WaveX.

Duration & pay

  • 6 weeks guaranteed, with option to extend by mutual agreement.

  • $30/hour.

What you’ll need

  • Compulsory: a valid driver’s licence.
